Peter Baker, J.D., MBA
Senior Vice President and Administrator
Peter Baker has served as Senior Vice President and Administrator of Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital since 2021. Peter Baker has more than 15 years of experience in healthcare, specifically in business development, strategy, and operations. He served Loma Linda University Health for over seven years before accepting his position at Children’s Hospital. Previously he served as Senior Vice President and Administrator of Loma Linda University Medical Center – Murrieta from 2016 to 2021. Peter Baker holds a Doctor of Law degree and a Master of Business Administration degree from Golden Gate University. He currently serves as a board member of the California Children’s Hospital Association and serves on boards overseeing Adventist Health International hospitals in Ghana and Nigeria.
Richard Chinnock, MD, MS, CPE, FACHE
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Chinnock has served as Chief Medical Officer of LLUCH since 2015. Previously, he served as the Pediatric Residency Director from 1991 to 2003 and as Chair of Pediatrics from 2003 to 2021. He is a retired Captain for the U.S. Navy Medical Corps. Dr. Chinnock is an internationally recognized expert in Pediatric Heart Transplantation with over 100 peer reviewed published manuscripts in this field. He has a Master of Health Care Management degree from Harvard School of Public Health and is a Certified Physician Executive and a Fellow of American College of Healthcare Executives. He has served on a number of California state committees on various healthcare related subjects.
Sherry Nolfe, DNP, RN
Chief Nursing Officer
Ms. Nolfe has served Loma Linda University Health since 2005 and oversees all clinical operations for Loma Linda University Children’s Health. Sherry joined the LLU Children’s Hospital administration team in 2015, where she served as the Executive Director for Patient Care Services. Ms. Nolfe has 30 years of nursing experience and over 15 years of experience serving in various leadership roles within the organization. Since 2019, Sherry serves as the Chief Nursing Office for Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital. She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice and Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Nursing Administration from Loma Linda University, School of Nursing.
Daryl “Rusty” Oft, MBA
Vice President of Operations, LLUCH
Vice President of Business Development, LLUH Hospitals
Mr. Oft has served as the Vice President of Operations, Loma Linda University Children’s Heath since 2021. Since 2019, Mr. Oft has also served as Vice President of Business Development for LLUH Hospitals. Mr. Oft joined Loma Linda in 2008 as a management resident and has since held positions in project management and enterprise content solutions. Mr. Oft holds an MBA degree from Drucker School of Management - Claremont Graduate University, where he received certifications in Strategy, Management, and Leadership. Mr. Oft is actively involved in his family's mission project, Living Waters Int'l-Kenya, and volunteers as Board Chairman for Cooper Hospital-Liberia and Waterloo Hospital-Sierra Leone with Adventist Health International.
